Renting a 4×4 in Namibia or South Africa has never been this easy. Berg 4×4 Rentals conveniently has two branches. We offer 4×4 Rentals from Cape Town and from our satellite office in Walvis Bay Namibia. Collection / Drop off from anyone of our branches are free of charge. Each branch is allocated its own stock and the stock has to be returned to its original location. A return fee will apply should you drop it off at a different location. We also delivery or drop off at most airports, and in most major cities at a surcharge. Please select your desired location on the Enquiry Form and we will quote accordingly.

Berg 4×4 Rentals is a family owned business, therefore, the service you will receive from us is personal and allows a little room for customizing the vehicle or accessories to suit you. We pride ourselves in our fleet which consists of reliable and trustworthy vehicles, each individually designed to ensure a comfortable and memorable 4×4 experience. Our vehicles can sleep 1 to 4 people comfortably and additional ground tents can be added for one extra person. The vehicles are already fitted with all the accessories and camping equipment you will need.

We also offer a selection of optional additional equipment, which can be rented at your leisure.

Being experienced travellers ourselves, we understand the importance of having the correct equipment in the correct place to ensure comfort and maximizing the space available. We have a passion for the outdoors and vast knowledge of 4×4 rigging and off-road driving. The following countries fall under our territorial limits and you can drive through any border at your leisure during your rental period as long as we arrange the border documents prior to departure: SOUTH AFRICA, NAMIBIA, BOTSWANA, ZIMBABWE, MOZAMBIQUE, LESOTHO, SWAZILAND. ZAMBIA AND MALAWI is also part of our territorial limits, although we require a higher deposit for entering.

We have had so many queries on renting a 4×4 in TANZANIA that we have tailor made our insurance to include a special extension so you can enter and visit this amazing country which showcases pristine wilderness. Please enquire if you are interested in visiting Tanzania.

Travel documents are arranged by us free of charge, but do not include visas or charges for crossing the border. We do undertake to provide everything you require for the vehicle to successfully enter our neighbouring countries.

Clients with confirmed bookings with Berg 4×4 Rentals will have access to our travel centre that will give helpful hints and tips on where to go, where to stay and what to see. Carefully planned itinerary assistance available upon request.

Our fully Equipped ranges has everything you need for a luxury camping holiday. Should you be staying in lodges, but still require a durable 4×4, our fleet has unequipped options (no camping). If you find your inner peace next to the fish waters, see our range of fishing vehicles which can be hired from our Walvis Bay branch for trip to Henties Bay and further up the Skeleton Coast (Up to Terrace Bay).
